It was a really tiring weekend. I thought when i get really tired i can have a great sleep. Not at all, I end up sleeping for even less hours and waking up with dry eyes and sore body. 😫I finally recovered just now, but I don't regret scheduling a lot of stuff every weekend.

Aoba: Hair Spray

I really don't like to hair spray down my wig. I think I don't like the hard feeling of it [sometimes the smell of it too]. So my major problem at a outside shoot is normally the wind XD!

Aoba: Chinese Animation

I randomly watched one episode of a Chinese Animation, and it surprised me. The drawing is extremely well made, the animation is very smooth and the story line was very decent, but the transition is not very good. One min it look professional the next min it look like cheaply made.

Aoba: No Windows 10 for Me

So last night after about 5 hours of thinking things over, I decided to install that window 10. Mainly because, if i happen to buy a new PC I'm pretty sure it will come with window 10 not to mention my family are using 10 as well which they always ask me to fix small problems on.

So, long story short, installed window 10 and 1st thing i notice over 10 error pop ups saying there are different programs that isn't working with window 10 and are disabled. Ok, some of the programs I got without any upgrade options which they can only be used on window 7 so, that means the programs are done for.

Next i noticed my whole back up hard drive is missing. I looked online to find a way to fix it. There are a few ways to make it working and show up on my pc, but even if i take the time and stress to fix this problem what about my programs that doesn't work? Do i just want to drop them? I don't mind dropping one or two programs but this is more than that. So with in 30mins of use I revert my windows back to 7 TvT.

July 4th is right around the corner, those going to play with fireworks please be careful and have fun ;D

When i was around seven it was my 1st time playing with fireworks. Also my last time playing with fireworks. There was two reason for this decision.

1. I think it wasn't really legal to play with fireworks in China due to a lot of fire incidents every holiday.

2. That one time i was playing with fireworks i was too close to it and it blow up right in front of my right ear (made my ear ring and all that good stuff!) Even though i can hear fine from both of my ears I do think my right ear is the weaker ear.

So i decided it's ok i don't have to play with fireworks xD

Aoba: No black flowers

I'm very sorry to hear the tragedy that happened. I hope this kind of thing will happen less as time goes on. Maybe later humans can find a better way to solve problems but for now let's all stay strong and positive.

I have been working on a costume that needs flowers that are black and I went through a few craft stores, they did not have any that I felt was the right thing. So, now i buy white flowers and spray pain them black. 1st time painting a flower, not sure if i need finishing coat but I'm just going to skip any extra coats that I can.

Aoba: Dust off your shoulder & Keep Cosplaying

I'm sure this happened to you before as a cosplayer, where some one questioning you about your cosplay.

"I thought his wig was black not dark brown?"

"Doesn't she have the bracelet on her left arm instant of the right?"

"Oh I think his jacket isn't that long, maybe a bit shorter?"

"What happened to your contacts? It's not the right color"

When people question something about your cosplay there are a few reasons

1. They don't understand why you didn't do it like what they pictures, so they want to find out why it's different from the character.
2. Making conversation. Some people are very fast to speak, doesn't really think twice. So to them it's just a question even thought they really don't care how you cosplay your characters.
3. They are trying to be helpful! Either pointing out some details they think you missed or got it wrong, or trying to give you a better choice. 
4. Straight up don't approve! Can't handle the way you cosplay, forcing their rules of how to cosplay on to you.

Out of all four, only the last one is negative the other three sounds like people just want to communicate and talk about cosplay. So tell them why you did it the way you did and keep your mind positive. The more you think ppl are judging you the more everything seem that way. This is a perfect time to be insensitive about what ppl say and give no shitz about what they think. You do you!

It is OK to be a perfectionist and want to nitpick everything about a cosplay. But, it's not OK when you apply those rules on to anyone else but yourself. So concentrate on your own cosplay make it amazing and wear it proudly for everyone else there are no rules.

The progress of Noiz Belt

Alright so finally I got Noiz's belt done. The last thing I need to do is his boots but I haven't been able to find a pair of boots that i can modify comfortably yet, so I will leave that alone for now.

As for this belt, you can find an actual professionally made REAL belt for about 20 bucks, which will save you time and effort of making something that might worn out way faster. Be careful what you buy though, I have seen Noiz belt "STICKER" that you just stick it on to a normal belt which also cost 20 bucks. Trickery!

Why buy a belt for 20 bucks when you can make one for less than three dollars? Well, in my case I only spent one dollar XD

1.  a black belt (1.00) bought
2. lime green paint (0.50) already have
3. a black sharpie (1.00) already have

Yes i bought a belt for a buck at a dollar store near my area. I actually could've used one of my belts but I love all my belts enough to not want to get any paint on them. And, I already have the paints so I end up just spending a dollar on this project.
This project is very easy and straight forward. The only thing you need is patience and time, which you should have if you already went through the cube boxes making x3x HOLY SHIT the time i spend on those!!

All you have to do is make a square mold (i don't know what they are called). And, you know what to do next! But don't forget to cover both sides with clear tape that way when you paint over it it won't get wet. Now comes the worst part of this. Waiting for the paint to dry so you can paint another layer. I think i did about 3 to 4 layers of paint.

It is finished! Way easier than the cube boxes TvT. Just don't forget to cover the belt with a few layers of finishing coat. That way the paint won't get scratched or worn out too fast.

The Progress of Noiz Toys

So I did mention this on FaceBook that I will be cosplay Noiz after Aoba (from Dramatical Murder), and look like this project will be done this year! But, I probably won't bring out any shots of this cosplay until next year.

A few days ago I started the progress of making Noiz's boxes / cubes that he wears around his hip. I thought it was just going to be tedious, boring and time consuming, but i was so wrong. It also took my arm and neck!

I have been in pain since a day ago. The sore is finally wearing off. And, I promise I will not make anther cube for a very very long time!

In this picture above I made the cubes with cardboard and pretty much hot glue them together. The problem here is after you paint it black you see this nasty looking rough finish because of the hot glue. (Also I couldn't find my normal black paint. So I ended up painting it with glossy black paint to just give it a test. The result is horrible!)

After that I decided i want it to be way better looking than this so I sanded all 6 sides of the cube. Now, I'm sure you can imagine how I killed my arm after 20 x 6 sides to sand.

Here are somethings to watch out before you get in to this:

1. Use cement glue, tacky glue or normal glue to do this. Do not use hot gun. It is extremly hard to sand.
2. Don't use glossy paint. It will make a imperfect cube more imperfect because the shine.
3. Try not to sand all the cubes in one go! At least my arm didn't handle that very well.
4. Try to sand it with a electronic sanding tool if you can. Or else with sand paper it took me hours!
5. Maybe try half cubes black board half white board. Because you need to color half of them black and half of them green. That way uses less paint. (I had to layer 3 to 4 coats of green paint on the cardboard i got, which was a black with white foam inside x3x)

Dear god please tell me 20 cubes are enough. I really don't want to make anymore of this! Cutting out each sides was tedious and because it's small, each piece have a little bit of measure differences, gluing them together to form a cube gave me some trouble. And the sanding just hurts!

Next up is the actual Belt and Bracelets. I don't even want to think about he's boots right now, it seem hard to make T3T BUT! I'm super determined on this cosplay!! (￣^￣)ゞ
